Morning Musings

Wednesday, July 28, 2010 — Well here it is just about nine o’clock in the morning already and I have really gotten anything done but sitting around drinking coffee and did my morning routine. I guess I do need the rest in the mornings and at my age some say that I am getting old at 70 years old, I do need more rest than I used to do but I don’t really feel that bad.
Seems like they we’re having lots of bad news lately everything I turn on the TV seems to be bad news. Looking at top of the morning show this morning they were talking about drugs in connection with Mexico. If this US government doesn’t take control and do something about the situation I think we’ll see a complete collapse of this society due to mainly drugs and due to mainly smuggling of them from Mexico. However, as an individual and one doesn’t have all that much power in my situation there’s very little I can do without lots of help. I can write, I can talk to people but I can’t shake them out of  a lackadaisical laziness when they won’t take a hold of affairs and do something about this government that we have. The younger generation doesn’t seem to be knowledgeable or even interested in what they’re about to lose. I cannot warn I can’t put a stick on your rear end and make you do anything. At my age it won’t be long to go ubut at your age if you’re a youngster you will have a long way to go and once things have gone that way history tells you that the there will be a very dim situation until everything is straightened out again. There I go getting on my soapbox again when I shouldn’t guess I’m just just get to the point that I want to vent.

On the brighter side we’ve got plenty of rain and where plenty of water here for our situation and that is a blessing. If the garden wasn’t eaten up with grass it would be making a lot of vegetables I think. We sit and complain about the hot weather but I like summertime pretty well just would like for there to be a little less of it. I really like the spring and the fall because there temperatures are temperate and we have lots of activities to really enjoy your life. We all need some recreation no matter what our status in life is.
So y’all have a good day because I’m going to try to have a good day here in Coffee Springs.
